Our goal at the Serengeti Wine to Wildlife Festival is to introduce wine lovers to the exceptional character and quality of South African wines along with other wines produced south of the equator.
We have chosen from some of the greatest wineries of South Africa, Argentina, Chile, New Zealand and Australia. Our selection represents a selection of some of the world’s most stunning wines and provides our guests a unique opportunity to sample and purchase wines not readily available in stores. Visitors will also have the opportunity to taste the Serengeti Resort’s private label. Guests may also opt for one of the Argentinean Malbecs, the Chilean Carmeneres or the perfectly balanced Chardonnays of Australia. Adult day pass tickets include five wine and food tastings so you can be sure to try one wine from every country.

You can duck in and out of thatch pavilions and taste some of the best cuisine in all the Hill Country as paired with some of the absolute best Under the Equator wines available. The covered palapas, eclectic native music, jungle sounds and the Serengeti Plains just a stone’s throw from the grounds, all add up to an experience never before felt at the normal Texas Wine Festival.

Don’t forget margaritas, winearitas, and specialty beers are also available at the Tiki Lounge, where guys can watch football on the giant big screen while ladies shop at the palapa pavilions filled with unique gifts and wonderful Christmas items.

Guests may purchase wines by the glass and open bottles to enjoy while at the festival. All adult ticket holders may purchase wines by the bottle to take home. Discounts are available for case purchases including mix & match cases.

Will the wines be available after the festival? Absolutely! We believe so much in the wines we have brought in from these countries that we carry every available wine in stock at the resort.
